PHILANTHROPY
Phi Delta Epsilon is partnered with the Children's Miracle Network (CMN), and more locally the Children's Hospital Oakland (CHO), for our philanthropic efforts. CMN is a nonprofit organization helping to raise funds for over 170 children’s hospitals worldwide. Each year, we raise money through various fundraisers to donate to the organization. Our main philanthropic event every year is an our Anatomy Fashion Show, which is typically held every spring. Our annual contribution helps fund medical care, research, and education that helps save and improve the lives of 17 million children each year. CA Iota has historically raised thousands of dollars each year in service to CMN to honor and support the work they have done, and we continue to do so every year.
STAND FOR THE KIDS (SFTK) 2020
This year, due to the virtual nature of the the Fall 2020 semester, PhiDE CA Iota participated in Stand for the Kids, our international day of philanthropy to give back to the Children's Miracle Network (CMN), by creating this video to raise awareness. In addition, we were able to raise over $1000 for CMN this semester.
