We are always looking to expand our network and organization. Every semester, we hold a rush week for interested students at UC Berkeley. We are looking for passionate pre-medical students with inquisitive minds and steadfast work ethics who show initiative through their academic, professional, and personal endeavors.

Do not be afraid to show off your personality when appropriate. We want to get to know the real you! |

Keep an open mind throughout the process. Rush Week will be long, but you will leave a good impression by consistently showcasing a positive attitude. |

While we encourage you to share your perspectives and opinions during Rush Week, please remember to always be respectful and polite to both actives and other potential new members. |

Give it your all and be prepared to have a good time! Rush Week should be an enjoyable experience for all involved. |
❓Do I have to be Pre-med to join PhiDE?
Because we are a pre-medical chapter of an international medical fraternity, we must only accept applicants who intend to pursue medical school after graduating
❓Do I need a specific GPA to join PhiDE?
Yes, we only accept applicants with a GPA of at least 3.0.
❓Do I need to be a certain major to join PhiDE?
No, any major is welcome to join. Our professional workshops cater to your needed requirements to succeed in medical school.
❓Do I have to attend all Rush events to be eligible to join?
You are not required to attend all events in order to apply. However, attending more events helps you stay informed about the process and helps us get to know you!
❓Do I have to wear professional attire for any of the events?
Professional attire is highly encouraged for Speed Rush and the Final Interview (if applicable).
❓How will I be notified if I am selected for invite-only events?
You will receive an email invitation from our recruitment team if you’ve been selected for an invite-only event. Please make sure to monitor your inbox throughout rush week to ensure you don’t miss an invitation.
