PHILANTHROPY
Phi Delta Epsilon is partnered with the Children's Miracle Network (CMN), and more locally the Children's Hospital Oakland (CHO), for our philanthropic efforts. CMN is a nonprofit organization helping to raise funds for over 170 children’s hospitals worldwide. Each year, we raise money through various fundraisers to donate to the organization. Our main philanthropic event every year is an our Anatomy Fashion Show, which is typically held every spring. Our annual contribution helps fund medical care, research, and education that helps save and improve the lives of 17 million children each year. CA Iota has historically raised thousands of dollars each year in service to CMN to honor and support the work they have done, and we continue to do so every year.

Our Signature Philanthropic Events
STAND FOR THE KIDS (SFTK) 2024
Stand for The Kids (SFTK) was started in 2013 as our international day of philanthropy where all PhiDE chapters raise funds and awareness for their local children's hospital. We stand as a symbolic gesture to honor the dedicated physicians, families, and friends who spend countless hours standing by children in need. this year marks the 11th year anniversary of this signature event! This year, PhiDE CA Iota participated in Stand for the Kids by selling succulents on campus.
